As part of our commitment to social responsibility and holistic education, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit at PES’s College of Engineering, Phaltan (affiliated to DBATU, Lonere) actively works towards nurturing socially responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented citizens. The NSS Unit aims to instill the spirit of voluntary service among students by engaging them in community development, social awareness, and nation-building activities.

Our strategic objectives include:

• Encouraging student participation in community service activities to promote social awareness and civic responsibility.
• Organizing regular activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation, blood donation camps, and health awareness programs.
• Conducting special camps in rural and underserved areas to understand grassroots issues and contribute to sustainable development.
• Promoting values of discipline, teamwork, empathy, and leadership among NSS volunteers.
• Collaborating with government bodies, NGOs, and local authorities for impactful social initiatives.
• Observing national and international days related to social, environmental, and humanitarian causes to spread awareness.
